Job Description

MAs the Director of Operations for DISTRO+, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of all delivery and Direct To Store “DSD” delivery. including setting up and managing all regional distribution centers. Your job is to ensure efficient and effective processes that support our business goals. You will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies and initiatives and leading cross-functional teams to achieve results.

Reports To: 

President of DISTRO+

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and initiatives that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives
  • Develop and Implement Direct To Store (DSD) delivery model
  • Set up regional distribution hubs and SOPs for distributing products to our sales team and representatives
  • Increase efficiency for all DISTRO+ team members, Jobber network, and ISOs
  • Overseeing strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation
  • Defining, implementing, and revising operational policies and guidelines for the organization
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve results and meet operational goals
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the company, including manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and maintain budgets and financial plans for the operations department
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and coordination of efforts
Qualifications:
  • Your ability to do your job effectively is the most important qualification
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in distribution, delivery, and service industries
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams
  • Strong understanding of DSD delivery model and the ability to implement it
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations with an understanding of manufacturing
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with budgeting and financial planning
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
