GPO Plus “GPOX” is a publicly traded, technology driven company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of consumer products for specialty retailers including convenience stores, gas stations, smoke and vape shops.
We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketer specializing in Email Marketing; this is a full-time position working at HQ (headquarters in Las Vegas – Sunset/Peccos area) to manage the digital marketing for our Shareholder Success, Public Relations, and Product teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our digital marketing strategy to increase our online presence, improve our marketing and sales efforts, and increase overall customer engagement across all digital platforms.
This person will perform the actual execution of our campaigns/strategies. The main part of this job is managing all email marketing and existing contacts lists. You should also understand the right types of content to send to the right people at the right time, both for lead nurturing and to boost the sharing and forwarding of our content-driven emails. Using inbound marketing tactics such as search engine optimization, social media, lander conversions, online advertising, and email marketing, you will grow our database and the goal is to convert leads into customers on all levels. Other aspects of your job includes marketing operations, channel marketing, and customer marketing.
The most important requirement is managing our email marketing. This means managing our ESPs (7), in house software, 3rd party software, data hygiene (appending and cleansing), and database management. Please do NOT reply if you can’t manage email servers and DO NOT LIVE in Las Vegas. You must process a strong understanding of all aspects of email marketing to large databases, and driving engagement through social media are essential.
- Email Marketing + Newsletter Development/Management: Create and manage a robust email marketing strategy that includes newsletters. The successful candidate will be expected to develop engaging email campaigns with high conversion rates. This includes creating and segmenting email lists, creating and optimizing marketing automation campaigns, database and list management, analytics and monitoring, and developing retargeting strategies.
- Technologies include; CRM (Zoho + HubSpot), ESPs (Cold Email services, AWS SES, MailChimp, MailGun, Zoho Marketing, etc), Data Hygiene Services (append and Cleanse), and the ability to integrate with multiple systems.
- Campaign Creation, Design and Analytics. You will develop unique and creative campaigns with the intent to convert people. Initially, we are focusing on generating investor leads so we can convert them into shareholders of our company. You will create high-traffic content (blog, website, social, email), lead-converting resources, and shareable creative projects. Landing page conversion testing, help draft copy/content to target specific demographics/lists with the goal of getting them to convert. You will be responsible for designing the emails and of course testing them. There is support for design work so don’t worry about that too much. Lastly, we will need to review the analytical information so we can constantly test and improve upon our lists.
- Technologies include; Analytical software like Google Analytics, trends, SaaS for monitoring and trending, and integration with multiple systems
- List Creation and Management: Build and maintain our customer and prospect lists. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the data, segmenting the lists to enable personalized marketing, and maintaining compliance with all relevant data protection regulations.
- Technologies include; CRM’s, Excel, SQL, other database management software.
- Graphic Design: Develop engaging and compelling digital content, including graphics, to support our social media and email marketing efforts. This will involve the use of graphic design tools to create high-quality visuals that resonate with our target audience and convey our brand messaging effectively.
- Technologies include; Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), Canva, other graphic design software. This is NOT a requirement, but a huge plus.
- Website Development & CMS Management: The candidate should have a basic understanding of website development and should be familiar with Content Management Systems (CMS), like WordPress. They should be able to manage content on the website, add blog and news posts, and work closely with technical teams for any advanced issues.
- Technologies include; Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, eCommerce like Shopify, plugins, basic HTML programming, connecting and managing API’s, and management of available offshore resources. An understanding of websites, conversions, affiliate programs, and beyond are positive.
- Retargeting and Remarketing: Develop and implement effective retargeting and remarketing strategies to increase conversion rates and re-engage inactive customers or prospects. This includes understanding customer behavior, pixeling on page level, segmenting audiences based on their interaction with our brand, and developing personalized strategies to reach these segments.
- Technologies include; Meta, Google, and all main marketplaces.
- Social Media Marketing: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across various platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter) to increase our brand visibility, improve our marketing efforts and increase customer engagement. We have multiple social media accounts for multiple products and brands and tracking and reporting all spends to establish and improve our ROI analyses.
- Technologies include; all major social media platforms, content management and syndication software like Sendible.
- Reporting & Analytics: Monitor and report on the performance of our digital marketing activities, using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and email marketing software analytics. The successful candidate will use this data to inform future marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying. Develop and implement operational strategies and initiatives that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Develop and maintain budgets and financial plans for marketing
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and coordination of efforts
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on email marketing.
- Proven experience in creating and executing successful email marketing, social media, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of all different digital marketing channels.
- Good knowledge and experience with online marketing tools and best practices.
- Experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics and CRM software a plus.
- Familiarity with web design and basic HTML a plus.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Experience working at a publicly traded company is a plus.
